Hi. I am trying to adjust slide properties of all slides at once in Storyline 2.
In Storyline 1 I was able to do this. I would go to 'story view', select Ctrl A and make the required change in the 'slide properties' box. When I do this in Storyline 2 the 'slide properties' disappears.
If you are selecting a question group as well this will happen. Use CTRL+A then hold down CTRL and unselect the question groups and they should now be visible
Hi guys. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
Hi Wendy. I have Storyline2 installed on my C drive, but the project files were on a separate drive. I've moved those files to the C drive, but it has not resolved the issue. I also did a reinstall with admin privileges as per the instructions in one of the links you sent, to no avail.
I haven't tried yet to make sure Microsoft .NET Framework is enabled and reinstall Adobe Flash Player (which is another tip for Windows 7 users in one of the links you provided). I do suspect that it could be a Flash issue, (given that I have had a previous Flash-related issue). I hope to try that step soon.
Hi Phil. I'm not selecting a question group. However, that's something I was unaware of and therefore a useful tip to remember!
Hopefully I can report back on a successful mission completed soon... :)
I just wanted to offer a reminder that you'll always want to be working on local project files (typically housed on your C drive) as Wendy mentioned. Working on a network drive or an external (USB) drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources which could be a par tof some of the odd behavior you have experienced and to try and resolve some of the issues with the files, you may want to look at importing it into a new file as described here.
Thanks for your reply. I am not working from a usb or network drive. I have imported the content into a new file as per the instructions in the link you provided.
It didn't solve the issue.
It's not a big problem. Everything else seems to work just fine.
Just a thought, you can only change properties a scene at a time you cannot do all scenes even though you can select them all. To do a scene you must follow Wendy's instructions.

Hi Scott
I have just tested in SL2 and all ok for me. I can Ctrl A to select all then the slide properties displays 'properties for multiple slides'

Hi Scott
I have found the issue.
If you click the scene so that there is a line around the whole scene and do a CTRL A - the slide properties will be greyed out
If you click the first slide in the scene and CTRL A - the slide properties will be enabled
Hope this helps

Hi Wendy.
I tried it, but I still can't select multiple slides.
I also reinstalled Microsoft .NET Framework and Adobe Flash Player (which was one of the tips in the links you sent me).
Everything else with Storyline2 works well so it's not a big deal I guess.
Thanks again for looking at this for me.
Cheers,
Scott.
