My course has two separate assessments. I would like the user to complete one assessment only to pass the course. I've created a results slide for each assessment which are both set to "calculate results for selected questions'
I then have an overall Result slide (which is hidden to the user) that 'Calculates results for Selected results slide'. The two radio buttons at the bottom of this screen are not what I want, ie; user must pass each quiz, and combine points from each quiz.
Anyway, I have chosen 'User must pass each quiz'. When I try to complete one assessment via the LMS it doesn't calculate the results. I then tried to complete the other assessment and it still didn't calculate the results.
How can I get this course to calculate the results for one assessment to the LMS?
I just tested the course on Scorm Cloud and the manifest is good. When I try one assessment and pass 100%, I get a score of 45.83% and no completion. Hope this helps.
as per Leslie's comment in this thread - you would need to adjust the passing percentage.
I've created a rough sample and also added a javascript trigger to set the completion of the module to completed.
I've uploaded and tested in Scormcloud. If i attempt Assessment 1 and get all correct, the actual score and passing score of 50% are recorded in the LMS. Same with Assessment 2.
You would just need to adjust the information that the user sees on the result slide for the assessment they are doing so it's not so confusing for them.
I'm not sure if there is another way to do this but hopefully someone else will chime in to assist. Good luck with your project.
a javascript guru might be able to chime in and let you know if there is a script you could run to change the pass mark to 100% but that's not my area of expertise unfortunately.
Re Sl360. If you open your current SL2 file in SL360, there will be a backup file created (which can still be open in SL2) and the current project will be upgraded to a SL360 file - Just note: once you begin editing in SL360 you won't be able to open that file in SL2 as the file structures are totally different. The SL2 file will be a backup but will not be synced to any changes you make in the SL360 file.
Hope that makes sense. Here is a link to more info about upgrading files.
How do I create a French & English version in the same eLearning? Our LMS (Success Factors) requires that we combine the two in the same Storyline Scorm 2004 (ed.4). Our test score must be greater than 80%.
How do I get the the score from either English or French to show on the result slide and be passed as a percentage score to our LMS? Only one score, english or french should be passed to the LMS.
Hi there, Lindy. When you publish your course, you'll choose a single results slide to report to your LMS. There have been some suggestions in this thread about how to handle a branched assessments scenario, but the key to remember is that questions that are tracked but not answered will still be calculated in the results slide.
Here's another scenario: one course, four quizzes, one results slide, but (and here's the catch), the student only takes one of the quizzes depending on where they branched in the course. If I have four different results slides, how do I get that tracked in SCORM? Or, if I have one results slide, how do I get only the questions from their quiz tracked?
It sounds like you'd like to have the ability to track results based on a branching quiz scenario. We currently have an open feature request on that item, and I'll be sure to add your voice to the report!
While I don't have a timeline on this feature, I'll be sure to pop back into this discussion when we have any progress to share!

Brilliant, this worked. What a team!
Thanks a million :)
Go you!!!! Good luck with your project Angela ;-)
Thanks Wendy.
Ideally we would love to see pass marks of 100% in the LMS, so if there is a way of doing this, please let me know.
FYI: I started this project using Storyline 2 and now we have storyline 360. So if there's a way of doing this using 360, I'd like to know.
Thanks again

Thanks, I look forward to that :)
All good with upgrading files.
