Hi I have just bought Storyline 2 and can't view tutorials in opening screen and access discuss storyline and more resources (nothing happens when I click on using mouse) - I am running Windows 10. The same also applies to Replay - any ideas please? I have reinstalled Storyline twice now but no change.
Hi, Anne -- So sorry to hear of your difficulties! Please see the following and let us know if issues persist:
Building courses in Storyline is a combination of adding content to the slide and then creating interactive elements. Here is a quick overview of the Storyline interface. In this section we'll go through three simple tutorials where we add content to the screen, synchronize animations to audio, and import a PowerPoint file.
These three tutorials will expose you to some of the types of tasks you'll do when you first get started. You'll learn to use many of the core features. Here's a folder with some practice files (13MB) that you can use with the tutorials.
Hi Thanks for the reply - the problem is not answered by the advisory
text within your email - when I open Storyline 2 the menus/links in the
centre of the screen and to the right- see in the attached image in the
red boxes, do not work and I am therefore concerned that there may be
other elements within the programme that don't work either! I would be
grateful for your help with this as I have spent some considerable money
on this programme - thanks
Hi, Anne -- Thank you for your response, but I wanted to note that the image you attempted to attach is not accessible here in the thread (as happens when you reply via email). Please click here to be taken to the thread itself and use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box to reattach your screenshot. Many thanks! :)
Hi, Anne -- Thanks so much for the screenshot, and if you are connected to the internet, you should be able to click on any of those areas and it should open without issue.
Here is the System Requirements sheet for using SL2, so if all criteria are met, perhaps there is something more affecting your machine that will need to be determined and addressed. I think it would be best if our Support Engineers were to work with you directly, so please use this form to submit a case, and I will be on the lookout so I can share relevant updates here for others who may have similar troubles.
Did you receive a case number so that we could take a look? It looks like you may be working with Wilbert on another issue as well? I am not seeing a case for this issue, but could be overlooking. If you did not receive a case number, you may want to re-submit.

Yes I seem to putting Articulate Support through its paces at the
moment! I did not receive a case number for this query so will re submit
Sounds great Anne. No worries :) Just want to be sure you get the assistance that you need.
Hi Leslie
I had the need to repair SL2 the other day and I am experiencing a similar issue to Anne - I get this error message. It also happens in my SL1 v10.
It doesn't cause an issue as I have the links bookmarked elsewhere but it is happening.
Update : I found the error - file association was set to Notepad - no idea how it happened - changed to FF and all working fine.
Thanks for popping in to share Wendy and for the update as well. That is strange. Glad you were able to get it sorted.
