May 27, 2015

Hi,

I have noticed in release notes for update 5, that articulate have Fixed issue where the timeline would lengthen when aligning objects to cue points or the playhead.

But in practice I did not observed this change timeline is still getting lengthen when aligning objects to cue points.

Does anyone else observed this?

Hello Christie,

Please go through screnshots and attachment below to know more details.

  1. Storyline update.
  2. I created new file from scratch and inserted rectangle shape.
  3. Then I placed playhead at two second mark. Then moved my object to align to playhead by right clicking on its timeline.
  4. Now timeline is increased by 2 seconds.

Hi, Parashuram -

After checking out your file and some newly created test files, we were able to replicate the issue and this bug has been reported to our QA team. Although I cannot provide a timeframe for resolution, a suggested workaround would be to only use "align to cue point" and make sure it's set to "show until end" by right clicking on the rectangle in the timeline. Hope that helps!

Hi all,

I wanted to provide an update here, as Storyline 2 Update 11 was just released, and included a number of fixes which you can see in the release notes available here. The item you all may be particularly interested in is how it fixed an issue where aligning objects to the playhead would extend the timeline of the slide.

You can download the latest update here, and after downloading and installing the latest update you’ll want to republish any existing content to ensure that the updates and fixes are applied.

Hello,  I am having the issue of  either inserting an audio file or recording and when I try to preview the slide or publish the content, I get the Articulate Storyline Error Report. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application.I also followed your instructions located in the Discussion Forum and  I have downloaded the latest update; Update 11, and I am still getting the error report message. I even opened another file; thinking my other files was corrupted and not so.

I don't know what else to do and I have to get this project done in 1 week! Please help?
