If I upgrade from Storyline 1 to Storyline 2 (for $698 before Sept 30th), will I still be able to have Storyline 1 on the same machine? Or does the upgrade overwrite Storyline 1?
Also, does the upgrade pricing for Storyline 2 increase to $1398 after Sept 30th?
Finally, if I do upgrade, I assume I'm able to open all my Storyline 1 files and use the Storyilne 2 feature (I'm especially interested in being able to re-export to the Mobile Player for Android).

You can run Storyline 1 and Storyilne 2 on the same system. The upgrade does not overwrite Storyline 1. Of course content created in Storyline 2 cannot be opened in Storyline 1, however anything you create in Storyline 1 can be opened in Storyilne 2.
The upgrade price of $699 does not expire after Sept 30. That refers to the new purchase license (non-upgrade) promo which most likely will be rolled over and extended.
Yes you can open Storyline 1 content, and work with it, in Storyline 2.

I am looking to upgrade at $698, but I'd like to try it first, and not sure my organization can push through the paper to buy before Sept 30th.

If you have a direct link to the Storyline 2 Buy Licence page, that would be great!
Leslie's link works for me - your link that you shared showcases the Storyline 2 info first, and then drops down to the subscribe to Articulate 360 information. I did share that with our web team just to take a look at how it's behaving.
I'm glad that helped Rick - but as Ashley mentioned, it is still something we shared with the team because it is a tad hard to notice - your eyes are drawn elsewhere :)
yeah, i guess i missed all the great 'extras' that were sometimes
offered but am grateful that i am not locked into an annual fee - all my
storyline work is unpaid 'prep', in the hope that someday i'll find work
where someone wants to pay me to use it. that would be terrific! it's
such awonderful environment to create in.
