I need to add a variable-based counter tallies or adds one point to a default of zero when button 1 is clicked (+1) and subtracts one point from the total when button 2 is clicked (-1).
Thank you! That worked. I have one more question. Why do I see a little square to the right of the value when I preview this slide? I attached my file - please go to the "Ascension" slide to see what I'm referring to. Click "Good Customer Service" and "Bad Customer Service" to see what I mean!
Another question! On a results slide, I'd like to show a happy avatar if the results are a passing score, and a sad avatar if results are failing. Is there a way to do this using variables?
Yes, this can be done. One option is to add triggers to the Results slide that change the state of a character to happy if Results.ScorePoints>=Results.PassPoints or sad if Results.ScorePoints<Results.PassPoints.

There seems to be some weird special character after the %Counter% string. Delete it and all should be as expected.
Ahhh, got it. Thank yoU!
