Actually we are trying to build a quite big course, where we will have a lot of chapters and under those many deleted slides in the menu. Anyway we would still give a good orientation feeling to the user and tell them where they are. If the main chapters on the menu are not marked while they are learning in different underslides, they might have issues and a getting lost feeling.
Is there a solution for this? Of course a custom menu would be the best way to do it, but at the moment it's not a solution for us.
You can add chapter headings to the menu anywhere you want. They are not connected to slides, and are not clickable, but they can serve as signposts. They can haveĀ slides and headings under them, so they are collapsible.
However I've already did try this solution because I thought it would be helpfull for the users to have a signpost. But actually my problem is the opposite, I would love to keep the main chapter marked while they are learning in "deleted" slides. So they shouldn't be collapsible because otherwise I will have too many slides under this and they will be confused.
I've created a navigation with the title of the main chapter on each slide, so they can feel "not lost" but I'm not sure that this is the right solution.
