I am having problems when posting to my web server. The output which is the .swf and html5 files get hung up at the loading screen. Sometimes they load. Sometimes they don't at all. I have tested on Chrome and Firefox and Safari. All the same issue. I contacted my web server because I thought it was an issue with them.
They said, "Because the page is not caching it is loading all of the Javascript pages at once every visit, which is about 2.3MB in Javascript alone."
Is there a workaround for this so it doesn't take forever to load? Or is there a different web server that is better for Storyline published files as I can't seem to find anyone else having this issue.
I'm not sure which web server you're using, but I know lots of users here in the forums use Amazon S3 (it's what our team uses too for most things). You can take a look at the information here on how to upload to Amazon S3.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Storyline 3 software.
Sounds like it's across the board and not project specific.
I'd recommend a repair of your software to alleviate any issues. Make sure you are working on your local C: Drive with both your installation and project files.
Same issue is reflected at my end.. it is taking too much time to load the pages after publish the file from Storyline 3 version 4 and view locally in browsers.
Hi Swapnil! Sorry for the sluggish behavior you're experiencing. We generally recommend viewing published content in it's intended environment, either in a web server or on a learning management system (LMS). That way, you can ensure everything in your content works properly.
Do you see the same slow behavior when you upload the published output file to a web server or LMS?
Alguna idea?
No apologies necessary, but I'll respond in English.
If the course worked as you'd hoped at SCORM Cloud, that's a good sign there is some interference from Blackboard. I'd suggest reaching out to your LMS admin for ideas and suggestions on next steps. I'd also point them to the copy of your course that works in SCORM Cloud as it's an industry standard for how a course would behave in an LMS.

Storyline 3 loaded fine all yesterday, today it is just hanging, stating it is initializing commands... annoying!
