Storyline 3 scripts called on startup

Nov 02, 2017

Hello all. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this. When I start up Storyline 3 on my Win10 PC, my computer warns me, as you can see in the screenshot below. Anyone know what's causing this? Any advice on what I can do in my settings to stop this behavior? Thanks!

Hi Greg,

This error is associated with IE secutiry settings, but there had been instances when it appears even when you're running a program in your local machine.

If you haven't done it, try changing the Internet options as follows:

  1. Click Search Windows and search "Internet Options" , select Intern Options under the 'Settings' category;
  2. It will open the 'Internet Properties' window,  click on 'Security' tab;
  3. Select a zone - Internet, and then click on 'Custom level' button;
  4. Scroll almost to the bottom, find 'Scripting', then set to Active scripting - Enable.

Let me know if this works or not.
