I'm designing a gamefication course right now that is a sort of maze game that has a map overlay layer. Is there a way to have this map overlay slide display for the rest of the project, the way you can in Captivate? Or do I just have to copy it to each slide?

You can put the map on the master slide, either on the baselayer or an a layer on the master.
