This is one of those "gaslight" moments where I feel like I'm losing my mind!
When I export to word using the translate feature, it includes content that I deleted many iterations ago. It still works and will only update what is currently in the file, but I don't want to waste the time of the person who is reviewing material in the word document.
Is there a "cache" or something that needs to be cleared? Can material truly be "deleted" or does it still accumulate in some hidden place in the file?

Have you tried "saving as" to try to get a cleaner .story ? (check size before and after).

Any chance the content is in there have you done ctrl+f to search for it? Could be on old slide master
