I have uploaded 7 mp4 videos into my course, turned the compression off. All 6 work great. There is one video that when played has a black box like shape that covers half the video for the first 5 seconds then disappears. I have republished the video in Camtasia three times thinking it was a corrupt file. When I preview the video using the video preview button in SL it looks great. When I preview the slide with the video using SL the black box appears.
I figured it out. For some reason I had to trick the video. Instead of play video automatically I added a trigger that said start video when timeline starts and that fixed that weird problem. Who knows. :)
