I have loaded a Storyline into Canvas using Scorm. Loads beautifully and can create it as an assignment, however when a user goes to the assignments page the storyline automatically opens in a new tab causing a bit of confusion. If the user goes back to the tab with the assignment page it will allow the user to launch the storyline but opens another tab. Trying to find a way to stop the storyline from automatically opening in another tab so the user has time to read directions and selecting the initial launch themselves.
Thank you for reaching out! I don't believe there is a setting in Storyline to determine if a link will open in a new window vs. a new tab, as all those options are browser and user-specific.
