Any reason why the captions are not in front of graphics? Is there a caption layer that I am not seeing in the timeline? See image. To me the logic would be they are always in front of all layers automatically.
Yes, I can send you a file but needs to be private. I have been publishing it out in Articulate 360 for review by client. Seems like it is happening only in chrome. Preview slide it look correct. Edge and Firefox browsers formatting is also correct.
We haven't yet been able to recreate this closed captioning problem in our own testing, so we still need your help! If you could send us a sample file as an example of the problem, that would be super helpful. If there is a bug lurking here, we can nail it down and begin working on a fix!
Thanks, Melissa and if you're able to share privately our team can sign an NDA too.
It would also be good to know what version/updates of Storyline 360 and Chrome you're using. Storyline is on Update 19 and the latest version of Chrome is 690.3497.92.
I've submitted a support ticket and attached a sample file. I am using the latest versions of Chrome and Storyline. I tested with Firefox and IE and did not see the same problem. I also tried two different computers with the same results.
Thanks for letting us know that you reached out and shared with our support team. Looks like Jonathan is already taking a look and you should be hearing from him soon.
So, we found a solution to this issue that worked for us. We just added some JavaScript on our main master slide. This fixed our issue of the closed captioning showing up behind the gray bar on the bottom of our template. Hopefully this can help others, in the meantime, while Articulate works on a permanent solution.

Hey Todd,
Thanks for sharing a description and an image of what you are seeing.
I agree, and I'd expect that to be in front of your slide objects as well.
Would you be able to share a .story file for us to take a look?

Absolutely Todd!
You can always work with us privately via this link :)
I'm experiencing the same issue. Please post updates if resolved :) Thanks!

I can't send the file I've been working with (proprietary), but I'll try to recreate in a new file when I have time.
I can tell you that I'm seeing this issue using Google Chrome but not IE. I haven't tested in Firefox yet, but will update when I do.
