if you have a file started it will be easier for someone to help you if you can share it. There are lots of types of interactivity so depending on what you are doing there may be a few ways of achieving what you want e.g. triggers and/or variables.
Just use the grey 'add attachment' button at the bottom of the post to upload your file.
I worked on the Moss and Roy slide to give you an example. Attached is the updated file and here is a link to a Peek video showing what I did. You may have other requirements that I don't know about and haven't factored in but let me know if this is what you are thinking.

Are you using the built in Player Navigation or custom navigation buttons?
