I clicked on a hotspot and selected Format>Marker options>Audio>Audio from file. Nothing happened in the hotspot or timeline. Could you tell me what I am missing? I did not see anything appear. I tried rebooting and got the same results. Thanks, DW
Have you looked under the insert audio menu on marker tools,after inserting? There should be audio editor option. There will not be an audio icon or anything added to the timeline.
Did you try previewing to see if audio plays when you click the marker?
Thanks Phil. I was able to hear the audio during previewing but i had to crop the original audio, save it to a new file, and then insert it to the marker. There was no audio icon shown anywhere, not even in the marker but the audio was there. So there was no way i could edit the audio in the marker.

Are you using a marker or a hotspot?
If it is a marker the audio should be in the marker not on the timeline
Yes, it’s a marker. I did try to insert the audio file via marker option approach but I can’t see where the audio is inserted.
It is inserted into the marker and will play when you click or hover dependent on the display settings

There is no audio/microphone symbol in the marker nor the timeline. I also need to crop the original audio for that marker.
