Storyline 360: how to reset answers after each try

Hello,

I've read the discussion threads on this from 6 years ago. I have tried all but it still doesn't work.

I'm starting a bare-boned skeleton of my course. I have a fill-in-the-blank where the answers need to be reset after each try.

I've reset the slide properties of my Incorrect and Try Again layers to "reset to initial state" but that doesn't work. I also tried to follow directions from Deanna in this thread: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/cannot-reset-fill-in-blank-question

My trigger form doesn't have an operator option as illustrated in her screenshot.

I've spent so much time on what should be so fundamental!

Please help!

Since when the user reaches the Try Again layer, their response is already incorrect, there's no need to check with an operator. What I suggest is making the variable blank as soon as the Try Again layer opens up.

You can add the following trigger:

Windows 10 (1) 2021-06-21 at 10.00.15 AM
