Storyline 360: Importing translations

Nov 21, 2018

Hi,

We have a reoccurring problem when importing translations in a specific template that we have created: the names of the slides always remain in English (although they have been translated in the exported translation file) and if we have questions included in the module, the feedback slides of the questions (Correct/Incorrect/Try Again) remain in English as well.

To fix this we manually copy and paste the translations and this is too time consuming.

Anyone experienced such issue? Any solutions?

Thanks,

Zlati

Hello Zlatina, sorry to hear you're having trouble with translating a file. You mentioned this problem only happens when you're using a specific Storyline template, is that right?

Would you mind sharing the Storyline file and the translation file with our team by clicking here? We'll do some further testing on your file to try and spot the culprit. Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for your fast response!
Unfortunately I won't be able to upload the course as it is considered confidential and for CCEPs internal use only.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Zlati

Hi Zlatina,

I completely understand! We keep all files strictly confidential, and we're happy to sign an NDA if you decide to send the file to us

You could also send us just a few slides with all proprietary content removed. Simply replace everything with filler text, and that would be enough for us to try and recreate the issue in our own testing.
