In the latest updates. If I moved a grouped and undo. Part of the group would go back to its original position while the other part would not. I tried multiples undo, but nothing happening. It only happens if I have nested grouped objects.
I'm having some trouble recreating this issue in a new Storyline 360 (build 3.25.18088.0) file. Would you mind sharing a sample .story file with me so I can take a closer look? You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by using this upload link.
Yes, there are a few issues with undo and grouped objects, specially with text boxes. To the point where I don't use it anymore if I can. Sometimes undo will break text formatting and the only way to get it back is to reformat or close the file (if you saved it) and re-open.
Do you have an open Support case or forum discussion where this issue has been discussed? I'd like to dig a bit deeper to see if our team has this reported as a bug and share any updates here if applicable. Let me know if you can the case number or forum URL and happy to look!
No, I don't have a support case. We're often very tight with timings when working on projects and didn't have time to report it. As this happens constantly and saw that other users also have this problem, I thought it was a known issue.
I'm sorry to hear this issue is getting in your way. I don't see that we have this issue reported. If you get the time to tell us the steps to reproduce what you're seeing (or even to make a quick Peek 360 screencast!), that would be helpful!
We'll keep you updated here with what we find out.
