I don't particularly like the glow state on pick one and pick many so I tend to edit the selected state to remove it and add a different color instead. Having got it the way I like it I then copy it and edit the text.
However, I'm finding that whenever I add a copied shape in the Form View and go back to the Slide View, the shape has reverted to glow and removed the background color for any copied objects. The original object remains unchanged though.
Yes, the work around is to set up one slide with multiple boxes painfully editing back each item's selected state after adding to Form View. Then duplicate the slide and change the text.
It is. again that when adding to a question Storyline recreates your selected state. My solution is to add the objects to the form first then build one selected state and format paint across all the other objects, sometimes then needs some adjustments but generally less work.

However, tedious and a bug.
Maybe someone has a better way?
Hi Richard,
Thanks for sharing what you are running into when editing your project.
I'm having difficulty replicating. Would you be able to record a Peek screen recording for me to follow along and test?

Doh! I never realized you could format paint states across objects. That's a tip that's going to save me a lot of time. Thanks Phil.
