Hello Emalyn - Looks like Michael has popped in to assist you here and you can view our documentation here. We do not have an updated downloadable aid.
Hello Emalyn - I know for the caption - that is found under Player > Colors & Effects > Advanced Color Editing > Button (Normal Background and Icon). I'm not sure what the lines are that you are seeing, but if you could share your .story file I could take a look.
Please see the attached file. I'm using articulate storyline 360. After publish to lms runtime, you will see there is grey line at the header and footer.
By the way, what is that extra button's function for? Its not a NOTE button either.
Hello Emalyn - Thanks for sharing the file and allowing me to take a look, I was able to see the behavior you were reporting. It looks like you did not have all the items set to transparent, so you were still seeing the border. This article is super helpful in creating the effect you were going for.
Your updated file is attached and looks like Wendy assisted you with the new closed captions button information :)
Sorry that you've run into some difficulties with this! Could you let us know what you changed and share a screenshot of what you're seeing? Also are you testing this only in the player preview or have you also published the course? If you've published let us know where you're hosting it and if you're also viewing the Flash/HTML5 output?
I'm not seeing your screenshots attached here, but it looks like you may have replied via e-mail. It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email as well. You can remove that if needed and here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
Thanks for the screenshots. I'm having a hard time seeing the difference between the 2 and 3 screenshots to know where you wanted the white separator line. Could you clarify a bit further?
the articulate player color.pdf says that the separator lines show between scenes. The client wishes them between items, so that may be too large in display, if they have many slides.
I'm having a hard time seeing them at all on your examples. It can't be changed to show them between slides though - although in your example I see you've made each slide it's own scene. I'd be happy to take a better look at your .story file and what you've set up for player colors?
Thanks Claudia - I also was digging a bit deeper into the player job aid for Storyline 3/360 and don't see it noted there. I'm reaching out to a few of my colleagues to see if they have an idea of what that item changes or if the fact that we're not seeing it change anything could be a possible software bug.
I'll be in touch as soon as I can with any additional info.
This is something that our team actually has on their radar to remove, as it's not used in Storyline. Sorry for any confusion! There isn't a way to add that separator line in between the individual slides or scenes.

This pdf should still be applicable to SL360.

Hi Michael & Leslie,
Please see the attached screens that I found at menu player preview.
001.png How do I edit the button for this transcript like button.
002.png & 003.png There are these two line I point with red arrow. How do I get rid of it. I don't see these two lines at Storyline 2.
Thanks!

Hello,
I tried to change the separation lines of the menu in the advanced color settings of the player, but it doesn't show. Any idea?

Hi Ashley,
thanks for your reply.
Here are three screenshots. I tried to set a white separator line to the menu.
I published the module for internet in html 5 and looked at it with my
own browser.
Kind regards,
Claudia

Hi Ashly, attached please find the file. Yes, I added scenes with one slide so that I see whether the player puts white separator line between sceens.
Thanks for your effort!
