Does anyone know why this is happening after reviewing that slide? I promoted two slides in the same scene and then deleted the parent group. The only nuance is the slide with the red X is from the same scene as the previous slide.
I've opened a support ticket to get some help. I tried moving those slides into a separate scene and reestablishing the menu but the problem remains. Tks.
Here's what I've learned. This X was appearing on quiz questions that were shown as a menu item. The X appeared when you got the question wrong. According to tech support, this appears to be a Storyline 360 issue and seems to be specific to the quizzes when they are being used as a Header in the Menu. They're going to run some more test and update me on the results.
A successful workaround was to add an intro slide before my quiz questions and have that be what's listed in the menu.
