Storyline 360 - 'retry incorrect questions' setting breaks navigation in the quiz

We recently updated a storyline 2 project to storyline 360 because our client wanted us to incorporate the 'retry incorrect questions' functionality into the quiz.
However, turning this feature on has completely broken the navigation in our quiz. Once you answer the first question and click submit, the next button no longer functions meaning the learner cannot move past the first question.
We are using storyline's question bank feature to pull 10 out of 16 questions. I should also note that we are using custom buttons for next, back and submit (rather than storyline's default navigational buttons).
Note also that the quiz works fine with the 'retry incorrect questions' setting turned off.
Any help/advice appreciated!

Hi Robin,
Thanks for including those helpful screenshots! Since you're using custom buttons for navigation, the triggers on those buttons may be interfering with the "Retry Only Incorrect Questions" feature.
