Storyline 360 rounding sum of variables to whole number

I've read several discussions where users describe SL rounding additions to the default 2 decimal places. I'm not experiencing this, but that's what I'm looking for. My two variables are set as a Number and when added together, the result is rounded to a whole number. How do I prevent this rounding? I need the "default" two decimal places.
