I updated my storyline version yesterday - ever since; whenever I create a new layer the objects from the base layer do not appear on the layer. Anyone else facing this issue?
I don't use Storyline 360; I just have SL3. But I've encountered this type of problem before. It was related to the Feedback Layout used for the layer. The layout looked "blank," but it actually had a filled-white background, which covered the base of the slide.
If that is the problem, there are 2 ways to correct it:
Remove the filled background from the current Feedback Layout. (Or this might have to be done to the Feedback Master.)
or
Create a new Feedback Master with a blank background. Then switch to that layout on your layer.
Still cannot figure out how a feedback master layout got applied to a layer. But I created a feedback master with a blank background as you suggested and it worked.
