The Storyline 360 HTML5 output with Modern broser output showing poor quality video with pixelated outline in IE latest browser. But its shows fine when opened in Chrome browser. This needs to be fixed as there are many video based learning we need to produce.
Hi there, I am noticing a similar behavior with a video published to the Modern browser: looks fine in Chrome but pixelated in IE 11. Were there any tips from the Support team about how to improve appearance?
I did not resize the video and have set compression to none, also set Video Quality to 9. Thanks!
It looks like we recommended some documentation on quality for Tanja, but we did not hear back from her on any resolution.
It looks like you're aware of some quality practices that we recommend, so I'm curious if you have the player locked to optimal size as well?

the Pixel Problem exist already but it is not so bad than in the beginning.
The only solution that work is that i change the zipped Video with the original Video.
The only Problem is, the qulity also get bad at this solution when the learner resize the window. Some learner make the window bigger, so they can better read the text.
I could fix the size of the window, but i dont make it because the Quality is not that bad.
Are you changing the video in the zipped output folder? I know that was a fix folks used to use in earlier versions of Storyline but with the changes to the quality settings or the ability to disable compression in Storyline 3/360 you shouldn't have to use that step.
You'll find those settings and reminders about the impact of scaling on quality within this article.
yes, i changed the Video in the zip file. Thank you for this Information. I have seen this option (quality setting) but i was not sure if this is the same when i change it in the zip file.
Good to know that i dont have to change it anymore. :-)
Hi, If i work with your last version the output video quality is OK. But search functionality doesn't work. I went to Dec 19 version to solve search issues and now I find video quality is poor.
I do apologize, but I am not following what you mean by the search functionality. May I ask if you could share a Peek 360 screen recording of the issue you are seeing?

I have the same problem, also with IE. We have only IE in the company.
I hope it will be fixed soon...
Best wishes,
Tanja
Hello Siba,
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with your output.
Would you be able to share a sample .story file that we could take a look at? That would certainly be helpful.
Hey Tanja and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
I see where you reached out to our support team directly and it looks like Abel may be doing some testing and you should hear back from him soon.

Hi Everyone,
Good news! We fixed the issue where videos are blurry/pixelated when viewed in IE11.
Here's how to install the latest Storyline 360 update to see all the recent enhancements and fixes.
If the problem reappears, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me or connect with a support engineer, and we'll be happy to help!

Any idea how to solve both issues?
Thank you in advance.
