Hi I have shared a project with a colleague - I have used storyline 360 v3.17.16188.0 and I have used the modern player.
She doesn't have that feature in her SL3 and therefore can't open the source file- she says she has updated to the latest version and is still unable to open it.
Phil is correct, that if you disable the modern player your colleague will be able to open the file in Storyline 3 or an earlier update of Storyline 360. To read more about the compatibility between versions check out this article.

If you switch off the modern player (reselect classic player0 she will be able to open the file.
