Storyline 360: Way to restrict slides until learner has passed quiz?

Jun 29, 2017

Hi!  I've converted a course that was created with Presenter '13 and Quizmaker 13 into Storyline 360.  In the process, I've learned that while the content carried over into the new version, some functionality did not.  The original course used Quizmaker settings to prevent learners from viewing the slides after the quiz until they actually passed the quiz.  I can't seem to figure out a way to mimic that functionality in Storyline 360 and keep the Menu navigation setting as "free".  Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Amanda!

Free navigation lets learners navigate to any part of the course at any time, and they can view slides in any order.

Did you know you can remove slides from the menu completely? Those slides will still be part of your published course; they just won’t show in the menu. And that way, learners won't be able to skip ahead to those slides if they have not completed the quiz.

I'm looking forward to seeing any other ideas the community will share here!
