I am having some trouble at the moment. I have a slide with multiple layers which I want someone to tab through, before moving to the next slide. When I add a slide navigation control "next button" to the last layer, it appears on all slide layers. By doing this, when you click on the button you bypass all content contained on the layers. Anyone know how to fix my problem?
Thanks so much for your fast reply. I am working in SL2 and followed your instructions. Perfect! Thanks so much for helping me out of the valley of despair!!! This project is looking good again.

Hi Anna
if you are using SL2, you can create triggers:
1. Change state of Next button to hidden or disabled when timeline starts on base layer.
Add a trigger to the last layer
2. Change state of Next button to normal when timeline starts/ends, media completes (depends on what elements you have on the layer)
Hope that helps
