I'm not quite ready to set up the timing on all my slides yet, but I would like to show my story to the client, to give them an opportunity to use all the buttons, links, and give them ample time to Use each slide/scene.
On just a few slides, the show will advance forward after the seconds on the timeline ticks by... but I have only set up the trigger for them to proceed to the next slide once they've clicked the next button.
Beacuse it also wont allow the user to back track and view the slide they need to
Check out Michael's method to see if it works. Or you can remove the auto advance feature in PowerPoint, and then import into SL. You don't have to reduplicate the slides.
Oh there's been so much work done in Storyline that the original project looks NOTHING like what the current rendition looks like. I think the original was made in 1990's when clipart was so rampant.

HI Janel,
Did you import the PowerPoint slides with the auto advance feature into Storyline? If so, SL won't display the advance slide trigger.
If this is the case, you might want to create the slides in SL from scratch, or remove the advance in PPT before importing into SL.

For the slides that automatically advance, got to StoryView and check that the slide properties are set to Advance by User.
That might be what happened. I remade the simplest slide there was and seemed to remove the issue.
There are more complex slides i have to rebuild other wise... is there a way to get rid of the auto advance after the facT

Hi Janel! Looks like you are getting some great assistance here, but I wanted to pop in and welcome to E-Learning Heroes
