Storyline and LDAP?

I'm developing a course for a client who uses active directory and wants to capture the names of their learners, but does not want to use LMS authentication.

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if there's a way for Articulate to talk to LDAP (or Shibboleth, which they also use) and harvest the username to be stored as a variable.
