So my work just did complete upgrade to PPT 2016 and now Storyline2 Update 7 will not run any PPT's. I commonly would import a PPT and now am unable. Any ideas when it may be compatable?
On every PPT I try to open I get the error:failed to import PPT message.
We have updated our support policies for Studio '13 compatibility, but not for Storyline 2 at this time in relation to Office 2016. I don't have a time frame to offer in regards to when I'll have additional information to offer, but you can view the current system requirements listed here.

This articulate.com/support/storyline-2 page says
"Supported versions include 32-bit and 64-bit versions of PowerPoint 2007—2016."
Is Powerpoint 2016 supported now?

Yes, as that article states Storyline supports Powerpoint 2007 - 2016, so that's including 2016. You can also find the system requirements here.
