I'm sure others will chime in here with some suggestions. I just wanted to stop by and share a suggestion that may work for you.
I know you're looking to add a button that will enable users to post on a Yammer page, but that may require some coding (especially if you're wanting it to post directly to the Yammer page and not just open it).
How about using a web object instead? This would keep the page within the course, but still enable the user to post their feedback/information.
I know you may be more interested in status, but this may also give the learners an opportunity to share testimonials, etc. on their experience.
I must getting old, I didn't even know what Yammer is I had a quick look at their site, there seems to be an API to connect to it (see here: https://developer.yammer.com/introduction/), not unlike the APIs available for Facebook or Twitter. Like Christine mentioned, this does require programming. And since this is part of company's IT infrastructure, I would ask IT for help.
Hi Dazzer! This thread is a bit dated, so I just wanted to share that you could connect with Kerry via the 'Contact Me' option on her profile as well in case she isn't subscribed.
I am planning to repeat the same thing as Karry - the glitch is ours is an Enterprise Yammer and hardly any customization allowed and it makes things difficult; if I know how much customization is required then I could probably go ahead with it.
I'm not sure that I have much more of an update to provide outside of what you can read here. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in and assist you further if the suggestions here do not work for you.

Just a thought :)
Good luck with the project!

Thanks guys, I think i'll go down the Web object route, never used that before so I will have a look at how it works.
Thanks again
Kerry
Sounds good Kerry - I hope the project goes well! :)
Have a great day,
Christine
Hi Kerry
How did you get on with the Web Object route? I am looking to connect to Yammer too.
Thanks

No problem!
It would be great to know the results.

Any updates on this post? I am also looking to use a web object to connect to Yammer.
Hey Laci,
This thread is a bit dated, so I just wanted to share that you could connect with Kerry via the Contact Me option on her profile.
I don't have much more as far as updates go, however, I did come across this thread that I hope will help: Embedding Code for Yammer.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
