I am clearly missing something here. I want an object to move (slide visibly) from one part of the screen to another, not just disappear from one place and reappear somewhere else. On my animation tools all I am seeing are my entrance and exit commands. Can anyone push me in the right direction on this?
Totally agree with Bruce that creating a Motion Path in PPT and saving out as a video/importing into SL works really well.
But just an FYI that if it's a relatively simple animation, you can achieve movement across the slide by positioning a few objects across the timeline and fading them in, as I've done in the attached.

Hi Gary,
At the moment, that's all that is available. Motion paths are not yet there.
The best way (IMHO) round this is to use PowerPoint 2010, create your animation, save as a video, and use that in SL.
More animations WILL become available - but they are not there yet.
