I'm having a serious issue with Storyline 360 today. Periodically and without warning, Storyline backtracks about 12 or so steps, and I loose all the work I've done. This has happened to me about 3 times today. I've tried saving the file at every step, and even saving it under a different name, but nothing works.
That certainly sounds odd - and isn't something I've seen before!
Can you start by confirming where the file is being saved? You'll want to work on local project files, as working on a shared/network drive could be contributing to this. Take a look at some of the additional recommendations here to prevent odd behavior in project files.
The same issue is coming up again. Last time, I tried all the suggestions in the linked article and none of them solved the problem. Finally, I uninstalled and re-installed Storyline, and the bug didn't crop up for a couple of weeks, but now its happening again.
Really sorry you're running into this unusual behavior again, Christian. Let's get that sorted out!
I saw that my colleague, Abel, is working with you in a case. It looks like he'll need to examine your log files to best advise on the next steps. He's standing by, and I'll follow along as well!
