One of my colleagues has been dabbling in Storyline, just helping with reviewing e.g. fixing spelling errors, adding audio, etc.
She wants to learn the ins-and-outs of it all, and as much as there is content-galore on Youtube, Lynda.com, etc. she acknowledges that she doesn't really learn well online and has asked me to teach her.
I have an idea on how I want to go about it, but just putting it out there for any tips on how you have started, and how it went (and what not to do, haha).

Show her the basics and then let her build something, I would say based on a hobby so she is her own SME.
Bingo! That is exactly what I was thinking, then there is no issue with content being correct or not.
