Storyline Changing Image Border Colors on Right and Bottom Border

Nov 14, 2019

We're using Storyline 3 and having a problem with the right and bottom borders of the images of published files. The image RGB values change from the original image to the image in the output.

In the original image that I captured using screenshot software, the window has a pixel wide border going all the way around the top, left, right, and bottom. However, when I look at the same image in the html file in the output folder after publishing it using Internet Explorer, the right most and bottom most border colors are now different or missing.

In the first image attached, you can see that the borders all the way around are the same color blue.

However, in the second image attached, you can see the top and left borders are the same blue, but the color of the right and bottom borders are different.

This is what we see when we open the html file in IE. In chrome, the dimensions are one pixel larger for width and height, but the right and bottom colors are altered just the same.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Hi Tony,

Thank you for reaching out!

It looks like the images attached are not showing the examples you are describing. Could I have you re-attach those images? Additionally, does the color change appear to be effecting the Player or the slide when published?

If you need our help to take a look at your file, we're always more than happy to help! You can send it privately by using this upload link. We'll delete it after a thorough look!

The images attached have been censored for most of the image because it contains proprietary information. If you zoom in on the borders all around the images, you can see the problem with the pixels I am talking about. If you zoom in on the edges and still can't see anything, I'll re-upload the images and hope that works.

Yes, the color change affects the Player.

I'll send the file through that link shortly.
