When working on projects- especially when I'm working in slide master, Storyline freezes (or lags sometimes). I can't even move a shape without it doing it. But sometimes just trying to add text makes it go crazy.
My computer is brand new, so there shouldn't be any problems with that. I have also updated, uninstalled, and reinstalled with no luck.
Does this happen to anyone else? Is there anything I can/should do?

Working on a network drive or an external (USB) drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.
