We are running a Storyline course through Learn.com. (it is the LMS our client uses. We can not use the Articulate App) When the course is taken on an iPad, it sometimes unexpectedly closes the course. It does not happen at the same point in the course all the time - Each time the course is taken, it closes itself on different slides. This is even after the latest Storyline update. Has anyone else experienced this or had a resolution?
Is this happening on multiple iPads, or just one? What version of iOS are you using on your iPad? Are you able to test by also loading the course into a site such as SCORM Cloud or even Tempshare to see if it's the Storyline course or the LMS, or the iPad and the wireless network? If you'd like to share the .story file with us here we'll be happy to test as well. If you'd prefer to share privately, you're welcome to send to us here as well.
We have tested this on more than one iPad (iOS7), in different locations with different people. We have also tested this on SCORMCloud, and the same thing is occuring. I will try to share the course privately. On a positive note, once the course unexpectedly closes, it automatically opens and we are prompted to Resume where we left off. So at least our progress is being saved .
Definitely sounds odd, so we'll be happy to check it out. When you send along the .story file, will you share the case number with me? I'm glad that the Resume behavior is functioning though, that's a positive!
I see that Jonathan shared another version of your course with you to see if you could test that one, but it looks like he received an out of office message, so we'll wait till after the holidays to test again.
Thanks, Ashley! I am back in the office and tested the course from the latest link he emailed to me. Unfortunately, it is still doing the same thing. The course closes unexpectedly - it doesn't close on the same screen every time, either, which makes testing this issue very challenging. It works fine from the desktop browser. This issue only happens when the course is launched from the iPad or iPhone (iOS7). I replied to Jonathan yesterday, but have not heard back from him yet.
Thanks Laurie, and I see your email reply to Jonathan. I just tested the link he sent you, and I didn't have the course close unexpectedly, so I'll continue to follow along and see if Jonathan finds anything else within the course.
Ok! Did you take the course on an ipad or iPhone? (If so, what OS version?) I haven't heard back from Jonathan, so I am wondering what the latest development is. The courses we developed for our client are supposed to go "live" soon, and I do not want an unhappy client :(

OK, thank you. The courses we are working on that are having these mobile browser issues are going live next week!! All help is greatly appreciated.
