There seem to be a couple of issues navigating through slides in Slide View.
1) No page up or page down navigation control while looking at a slide (focus set in timeline , or canvas. Can this be added as feature please?
The expectation would be, as in Captivate, that you can be working in slide timeline or slide canvas, and press page up or page down to move to other slides.
2) Bug with using up and down arrow keys when moving through slides in slide list:
Select a slide in slide list in slide view.
Press down arrow to go to next slide, repeat
After 7 or 8 slides, down arrow will not work, navigation is blocked.
you have to click back into the slide list to continue navigating.
Often you can only navigate one more slide again, before having to reset the focus.
First off, thanks for the idea for a new keyboard shortcut! I’ll let our team know there’s a need for bringing the focus back to the slides in the scenes list without moving away from the keyboard.
You mentioned you were seeing buggy behavior when pressing the down arrow key more than 7-8 times. I haven’t seen that in my own testing, but I’m curious to see what you’re experiencing. Would you be able to share a screen recording so I can get a better idea of what’s going on?
I have a recording I can send you - is there somewhere I can send it privately?
You'll see I get about 6 slides before I can't get further, then click the slide in the list, and am able to get 3 slides before it's blocked again, click again, get 1 slide further before it occurs again.
You can share the privately by uploading it here. This will allow Alyssa to view it privately and It will be deleted when troubleshooting is completed.
