Is there a way in Storyline to have a drag and drop not be mandatory. My navigation is set to free, but if you click Next, Next, Next, and get to a drag and drop it stops you and asks you to complete the question first.
I tried using the Next button and adding a trigger to submit the interaction, but it doesn't reveal the right/wrong states when I do it that way so I was hoping there was a way to just disable the "You must complete the question before submitting"
Sorry I don't think I follow - what for you want the user to be able to do? Look at this slide decide they if they want to do the activity and if not then click Next and move on? If they do the activity is it being scored?
Looking for them to be able to skip to the next slide if they don't answer the question without that pop-up. Adding the next button as well as the Submit button makes sense though. I had it in my head that it should be one or the other. Thanks for your help Wendy & Nejc!
That is of course unless someone knew of a way to turn off that window that pops up that says "You must complete the question before submitting". If not, then I'm good with the workaround.
without seeing you file hard to offer a solution but here is a rough sample of what I think you are trying to achieve. Means you won't have to have the Next and Submit button displaying.

Do you click next or do you click submit?
Sorry, Submit so it Submit's the Interaction
Yeah, so, if they click on the Next button, it should be fine.
If you click on the Submit button, it asks you to complete, because nothing was drag&dropped.

Hi Fraser
just confirming you've worked it out now or do you still need help with it?
I'm good with the workaround, thanks Wendy

Hope this gives you an idea.
That's a great workaround, thanks Wendy!
Good luck with your project Fraser!
