I am trying to time things out in the timeline and I keep getting an error message when I try and play the slide in the timeline editor. I am never able to type in the issue I'm having and when this message pops up it almost always ends up locking me up. Are there any known bugs right now? I just downloaded the latest software update to make sure I'm current.
Is this occurring on just this specific file, or are you seeing it for everything? In any event, it's probably best if you would go ahead and submit a case to Support for us to take a closer look. Please make sure to upload your .story file when doing so.
Is there a conclusion to this issue? I just want to know so I can expect to undertand the problem when/if this occurs instead of spending time on searching for a work-around.
From experience, I now never use the timeline preview as it often just crashes storyline. After 7rl months of that I learned to just preview the slide from the preview button near the top right of the screen, its much more reliable. Also, on a side note, I would also boycott the undo button as in actual fact it should be called the "randomly undo" button, which works 90 percent of the time then decides it wants to randomly undo things.
Thanks for sharing your experience Sam. The random part of 'undo' is exactly what has caused trouble for our QA Team. Replicating and random just do not go well together. It is still on the radar though

Hi Ed and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! It does not appear that a case was filed, so I have no update to provide.
