I am currently looking into purchasing Storyline but had wanted to know what the name of the file type is so as to confirm its compatability with our platform for storing our courses.
The source format is a proprietary format with ".story" extension. The output format consists of .html, .js, .css, .jpg, .mp4, .swf, .png, .gif, and .xml.
The .story source file won't go into Skillport since it only opens in Storyline itself (unless I misunderstand your use of Skillport). Storyline will also generate a SCORM or AICC conformant output in the form of a Zip file. I believe you can push SCORM and AICC files into Skillport.
Hi, Is there a place in a file in the output folder that can give me the name of my .story name, eg. myproyect_v1.story, myproyect_v2.story, etc and I only have one output and iIwant to know wich .story corresponds to that outpout

Thanks Steve!
Has anyone had any success with uploading .story files onto Skillport?
Any pro's and con's to tell?

Hi Cristian,
The published output folder is liked named to match the title of your .story course file unless you were to change it.
There isn't another spot in the published output that I'm aware of which would help track down the original .story file name.
