storyline files for non-flash LMS

Aug 02, 2012

good afternoon,

I wonder whether storyline elearning files can be published in a way that LMS that do not support flash can work with it.

Do the storyline files use / represent flash in any way?

we need to publish for a customer storyline files for a non-flash LMS.

thanks for all kinds of hints that work

Hi Mike

I am trying to direct my HTML5 file that I have published from Articulate Storyline module on an LMS but I don't  know how to direct the LMS to play the story_HTML5 file. The reason for this is to make my computer play the module with the story_HTML5 on the local network with AICC and not Scorm.

Is it possible to  do this?

Best regards

Heinz

Heinz,

You should be able to direct your LMS to launch the story_html5.html file.  Every LMS is different, but typically, when you load a package, it asks you which file to use as the launch file.  If it does, simply direct it to that html5 file.

If it doesn't, then it's possible it's looking for an index.html file to launch. If so, rename your story_html5.html file to index.html.  It will still function and should get you where you are going.

Let us know if this helps!

Thanks,

Mike
