Storyline for presentations

The company I work for has adopted Storyline as their preferred presentation software for face to face training
and online. I have recently tested a presentation for compatibility with wireless USB laser pointers and it seems not to work. I triggered the slides to advance when the "user presses the key - right arrow" as this is the key I believe the laser pointer syncs with on the keyboard.
Has anyone else been able to user laser pointers with published Storyline presentations?

Page up and page down is normally the keys for these devices
Hi Phil,
The page-up and page-down buttons work when previewing a scene or project inside the Storyline file, but do not work after you publishing the project. Any ideas why this would happen and any workarounds?
You are not able to change the settings in the laser pointer?
you should publish the course to CD and run the exe or run it online
Thank you all for your assistance, publishing to CD was the answer. I preferred not to change the setting on the pointer as this may affect how the remote works with other programs.
