Storyline has been deactivated??

Mar 29, 2018

When I tried to open Storyline 3 just now, this window popped up:

I have no idea why.  Program is registered and all that, and has worked fine ever since V3 was introduced.

Has anyone experienced similar problems, and if so, can you offer a solution?  Thanks!

Hi there Phil! Sorry you ran into that error. Here's how you can get back up and running!

  1. Close Storyline.
  2. Go to the Start menu and locate your Storyline app.
  3. Right-click Storyline and select Run as administrator. (In some versions of Windows 10, you need to right-click Storyline, scroll to More, then select Run as administrator.)
  4. User Account Control may ask, "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?"Click Yes.
  5. If the activation wizard appears, follow these instructions. Otherwise, Storyline is ready for use.

We got it up and running, thank you. Any idea why that would happen?
