Storyline Hover and Text Box
Apr 22, 2015
Hi there,
I'm new to Storyline (I have been using it for a week!) and have a bit of a problem I've not been able to readily find a solution to.
I have a contents slide with four images on it (see attached); when clicked, each of the images will take the user to a scene, before returning them to the contents slide. I've managed to create a state for each of these images, so that the user knows which of them they have already accessed.
The issue I have is that I want a shape/text box to appear when the user hovers over the picture showing them what section they are going to. (As per the attached example, when the user hovers over the Sanctions image, I want the Financial Sanctions shape to appear, etc.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for this, please?
Thanks

Hi Richard,
1. Copy the object containing the description. Make sure it is in your clipboard.
2. Select the image and EDIT STATES.
3. Go to the hover state and paste the object.
Now you will see the object when your image is in the hover state.
That's brilliant. Thanks, Christophe. :)
Glad that Christophe was able to assist you here Richard! Thanks for the update :)
