I am trying to add the Post It note template and every time I select add a new slide and the slide options appear, I click on templates and my project locks up, no templates appear. I have to control, alt, delete to get out. I was able to get the Post It note template one time yesterday and I moved the notes around on the screen, but now I can't get one of the 5 notes to open when I'm previewing it. I have two issues going on. Any suggestions! This is only my 2nd project so I have a lot to learn. Thanks for any help!
I'm sorry to hear about the odd behavior in your project file. First you'll want to confirm that you're working on local project files as described here.
I'm having the problem on all of my projects. I have the Storyline loaded on my laptop only. I tried opening a new project and adding slides. I can add the normal sides and quizzes, but every time I try to access the templates, the screen locks up, does not show any templates and then the only way to exit is to go to my task manager and end process.
Did you go through the repair already after confirming all your files, including the template files were installed locally? If you did the repair, we'll want to have you work with our support team next to take a better look at what's happening within your system.
I have not tried that yet, I will have my IT Dept. run the repair and I’ll let you know if I continue to have any issues.

Next, are you seeing this issue on all files or just a particular one? You may want to conduct a repair of Storyline in case there was an issue during the installation.
