Storyline issue - importing questions from Quizmaker 13

Firstly I am having issues conducting a search within the Forum's section on this site. As well as entering a more detailed search query I have also entered simple one word queries such as quizmaker and storyline but still get no results.

I am trying to find information on importing questions into Storyline from Quizmaker 13. I upgraded to the new version of Presenter/Quizmaker etc because I had a very large question bank which had been created in Excel so thought the new feature in Quizmaker 13 for importing from Excel would be a great benefit. However now I find I cannot import these questions into Storyline (I have checked for updates to Storyline but message indicates there are no updates at this time - version I currently use is 6:1407 2208.

Can you advise if there is a workaround for this as I cannot locate any information within the forum due to the search issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With thanks, Cath.

Probably no need to reply. I have just read a few posts (found them via a Google search) to say that both issues seem to be unresolved which is incredibly frustrating. Not sure if there has been any resolution since August 12

I was so excited when I discovered the new functionality for importing question banks from Excel, but all I feel now is total frustration as I will need to build the quizzes from scratch in Storyline due to the way this package needs to be deployed. What I am finding hard to understand is why it is taking so long to find a resolution to the compatability issue. Some of the posts I have just read date back to the beginning of the year.

So disappointing given I love your products. Will be hard pressed to express my enthusiasm for them now given these issues.

Hi Cath,

I'm sorry for the delay and frustration this has caused you. Our team has been working on the compatibility issue between Storyline and Studio '13, and as it stands now Storyline doesn't support importing content directly from Articulate Presenter '13, Articulate Quizmaker '13, or Articulate Engage '13. We're working to make this feature available in a future version of Storyline.

However, you can publish Studio '13 content for web, then embed it in Storyline as a web object. For example, here's how you'd insert an Engage '13 interaction in Storyline.
