Storyline Issue: Recording a Try Simulation on External Monitor

I experienced an oddity yesterday while trying to do a screen recording. I have a 2020 Dell laptop and external Dell monitor. I set my browser to be recorded on the external monitor and drew the recording dimensions. After doing a recording, Storyline erroneously captured the RED outline box AND was about 50 pixels off from the dimensions I set. I did this 3 times. Finally, I gave up and just moved the screen recording to my laptop display. It worked perfectly.

Here's a blurred out screenshot. The red box shouldn't be there, but you can see it clearly did not record where I drew my dimensions. You can even see the desktop background, my browser folders...etc.

I'm curious if your external monitor has a different resolution set than your laptop?

Yes, they are different. They are both scaled at 100%, but the laptop is 1920x1080, while the monitor is 2560x1440. The recordings always come out really clean on my laptop display, but they're quite skewed and even have a red box? on the external monitor. Bummer, but fixable. Thanks!
